Every practice, every tournament, and every interaction is designed to develop players who compete at the highest level while carrying themselves with integrity and respect.

Our mission with The North County Rangers Softball Team is to be one of the best resources for our players to be able to play at a higher level. We strive to provide our players the best resources to develop all age groups and skill levels while giving the proper guidance and fostering a sense of community among our softball fans.

Each and every team will be offered the required skills and training to move up the chain in competition. No player left behind is where we stand. Every player will be coached to a high standard in order to make them feel ready for tournaments and games.

The North County Rangers Softball family is excited to officially welcome Coach Marissa Luna as the Head Coach of our brand-new flagship softball program!
Coach Marissa is a true North County product who grew up playing at Vista Girls Softball before continuing her career at Coastal Academy High School (2020–2024). During her time there, she helped lead her team to back-to-back CIF Championships (2023 & 2024) and captured a California State Championship in 2024. She also returned to the game by serving as an assistant coach at Vista Girls Softball during the 2025 fall season.
More importantly, Coach Marissa brings an incredible passion for developing young athletes. She believes softball is about much more than wins and losses it's about building confidence, learning resilience, embracing teamwork, adapting to challenges, and growing into strong leaders both on and off the field.
As we launch the North County Rangers Softball program, we couldn't be more excited to have Coach Marissa leading the way. Her energy, experience, and commitment to player development make her the perfect person to help build a culture where athletes are challenged, supported, and inspired every day.
